Kennel Technician:

This position is part-time at a starting rate of $15.50. We offer pay increases every year you are with us based on yearly performance review. This position is available 7 days a weeks, either AM shift (6:45am-2:00pm) or PM shift (2:45-8:00pm). Shifts are staffed based on the needs of the kennel and the number of dogs we have.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Feeding dogs based on their feeding schedule
2) Taking dogs out to outdoor yards for turnout and playtime
3) Cleaning up yards and dog runs of waste
4) Cleaning dog suites and replacing beds/blankets with clean ones
5) Cleaning water/food bowls and replacing with new
6) Washing laundry and folding dry
7) Sweeping/mopping kennel floors
8) Emptying trash
9) Gathering up dog belongings in preparation for pick up
10) Any other kennel chores assigned to kennel technician from team leads

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS:
1. Must have at least 1 year of dog handling experience (outside of owning a dog at home)
2. Must be 18 years of age
3. Must have a reliable form of transportation
4. Must be able to work at least one shift for every major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve/Day, Easter) which consists of 2-3 Hours.

GROWTH WITHIN COMPANY:
All employees have the opportunity to move up within the company based on performance, personal goals, availability and position openings.

ORDER OF GROWTH:
Kennel Technician —> Head Kennel Technician —> Supervisor —> Assistant Manager —> Office Manager

SUPERVISOR:

This position is part-time at a starting rate of $16.50. We offer pay increases every year you are with us based on yearly performance review. This position is available 7 days a weeks, either AM shift (6:45am-2:00pm) or PM shift (2:45-8:00pm). Shifts are staffed based on the needs of the kennel and the number of dogs we have.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) All ‘Kennel Technician’ responsibilities in addition to the following:
2) Checking clients/dogs in for their boarding/daycare stay
3) Helping clients fill out boarding/daycare contracts and properly filing away
4) Checking clients/dogs out from their boarding/daycare stay and billing client property
5) Answering phone calls/texts/emails professionally and scheduling appointments or answering any questions asked
6) Bringing dogs back to their designated play area at check in while clients are filling out contract
7) Opening/Closing the kennel and sending out End of Shift Email
8) Handling kennel issues and dealing with more challenging dogs
9) Administering medication to dogs (when applicable)

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS:
1. Must have at least 2 years of dog handling experience (outside of owning a dog at home)
2. Must be 18 years of age
3. Must have a reliable form of transportation

5. Must start as a Kennel Technician for at least one month to understand how the Kennel operates

ASSISTANT MANAGER:

This position is part-time at a starting rate of $17.50. We offer pay increases every year you are with us based on yearly performance review. This position is available 7 days a weeks, either AM shift (6:45am-2:00pm) or PM shift (2:45-8:00pm). Shifts are staffed based on the needs of the kennel and the number of dogs we have.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) All ‘Kennel Technician’ and ‘Supervisor’ responsibilities in addition to the following:
2) Helping Office Manager handle scheduling
3) Jumping in to help assist staff when there are scheduling issues
4) Running inventory levels and notify owner of items needed at the kennel

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS:
1. Must have at least 3 years of dog handling experience (outside of owning a dog at home)
2. Must be 18 years of age
3. Must have a reliable form of transportation
4. Must be able to work at least one shift for every major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve/Day, Easter) which consists of 2-3 Hours.
5. Must start as a Kennel Technician for at least one month to understand how the Kennel operates
